Зодчий

Zodci

Zodcia - Soviet rock group formed in 1980.

The founder of the Yuri Dawadov group started in school groups, but he took more seriously the music in the mid-1970s, gathering a Guslara group of students from the Moscow Architecture Institute. The Group has frequently spoken with local stars, the Mother of Time and the Danger Zone, danced, participated in all possible student self-employment competitions and travelled abroad on several occasions with so-called “friendliness travel”.

The most important stage in the history of the Guslars ended in 1980, when they were able to legitimize on the wave of the Olympics and, by changing the name of Zodcier, they were given employment in the Tumen Philarmonia. The composition of the group has changed regularly. Clear progress began only after 1983, when the Integrral guitarist and singer Yuri Loz appeared in Zodchih, whose songs (including the material of our existing tape recorder album, Roz-n-Rall travel) constituted a lion of their new repertoire.

In 1985, at the invitation of Yuri Loza, Valery Sutkin arrived in the group before playing the Moscow Group Telephone.

The most stable and strong composition was at the beginning of 1986, when Zodcié went under the wing of the Ryazan Philharmonia. The group consisted of Yuri Dawadov (bas, Violonchel, volkal), Yuri Loza (gitara, volkal), Andrei Artiukov (Gitara, volkal), Valery Sutkin (bas, guitar, vocal), Alexandre Belonesov (who started in the Moskov Group “Forum”, and also registered with the “Kryos” group.
